The teams are in and England go with a strong XI in their final fixture before they make their way to Germany. Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale gets a rare start in goal as Harry Kane, Phil Foden and Declan Rice all return, along with Kobbie Mainoo, Anthony Gordon and John Stones. Cole Palmer again starts, with Bukayo Saka and Trent Alexander-Arnold on the bench. Jude Bellingham misses out entirely as he's given extra rest after his Champions League-winning exertions for Real Madrid.

England will also have concerns over the fitness of centre-back Stones, who was replaced at half-time after appearing to roll his ankle in the first minute, though manager Gareth Southgate later played down the severity of the injury.
Iceland put up a valiant effort throughout the match, but ultimately fell short in their quest for victory. Their disciplined defense kept England at bay for much of the game, but they were unable to find the back of the net themselves
This victory for England is sure to boost their confidence as they continue their campaign in international competitions. It highlights their resilience and determination to come out on top even in challenging circumstances.
England looked very uninspired throughout and never really came close to finding an equaliser against their opponents. It's not the type of performance or result that the country will have wanted ahead of the European Championships that kick off later this month. Aside from a glorious opportunity that Harry Kane somehow squandered from mere inches out, it was a very quiet evening for England and it looks like there's plenty of work to do before the international tournament gets underway
