Earlier this year, the Bronx Economic Development Corporation announced it would give money to five businesses through their inaugural BX Factor Small Business Challenge. For Green Canvas Productions, winning that challenge couldn’t have come at a better time. “It’s difficult to essentially develop the necessary capital and cash flow to showcase that you are a viable business,” said Gregory Hernandez, owner of the production company.
