File photos San Diego mayoral candidate Larry Turner said Wednesday a recent poll shows growing support for his challenge to incumbent Todd Gloria, with a large number of voters undecided. The early May poll by local Competitive Edge Research showed Gloria at 40.4% to Turner’s 31.6% with 27.9% undecided. In the March 5 primary, Gloria captured 49.99% of the vote to Turner’s 23.07%, with three other candidates splitting the rest. Turner, a Marine Corps veteran and San Diego Police community relations officer who is running his first campaign for elected office, said the poll shows “an enthusiastic base” for his candidacy. “Many of the undec
