May 21, 2024 (RAJA) – Authorities and United Nations peacekeepers visited Boro Medina in Raja County of Western Bahr el Ghazal State to assess the humanitarian and security situation in the area hosting hundreds of refugees and returnees. The area, neighbouring Sudan, has witnessed thousands of returnees and refugees fleeing the conflict between the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) since it broke out in mid-April last year.
