Claudette Soto, 44, has a lot to celebrate this Mother’s Day, after beating an aggressive form of breast cancer. “I overcame my fears. And I found you know, a new life, a new beginning,” said Soto, the CEO of a Chicago construction management company, who is also a wife and mother to three boys. Soto was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in April 2023, despite having a clean mammogram seven months earlier, the diagnosis even surprising her radiologist. “He said, Claudette, we think it’s cancer. And we think it’s aggressive, because there was nothing there in September and we’re very concerned,” Soto recalled. Soto had felt a lump in her breast about a month after that
