May 4, 2024 (KHARTOUM) – The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) is extremely concerned about shocking levels of violence and devastating humanitarian and protection risks as many areas across the war-torn Sudan remain beyond the reach of aid organizations. Working with other local partners,  UNHCR said its team reached Omdurman in Khartoum State for the first time since the conflict broke out.
