The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), in cooperation with the Egyptian government, on Tuesday launched a plan to transform 6th of October into a green city. The plan is set to be implemented by the relevant government agencies and the 6th of October City Authority. It enhances Egypt’s efforts to transition to a green and sustainable economy and implement the Green Cities Program, which comes as part of cooperation between the government and the EBRD.
