Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has today approved an increase in the remuneration and other benefits of the Panchayati Raj representatives of the state. It is worth mentioning here that the PR representatives had met 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian during his visit to various districts and requested regarding the increase. According to the decision, the Zilla Parishad President will get a monthly remuneration of Rs 30,000 rupees instead of Rs 9,380 rupees they were getting earlier. Their daily allowance and the Sitting fee have also been increased from Rs 300 to Rs 600. The remuneration of Zilla Parishad Vice-President has been increased from Rs 7,040 to Rs 20,000 and
