Special Thanks to Supporters of 2023 Santa Shoppers Program

Each year Smith County Sheriff’s Office and the Smith County Chamber of Commerce partner to offer the Santa Shoppers Program. Since the beginning almost 1500 children have been served. In 2023, over $40,000 was raised and 220 children were served. Officers from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the Gordonsville Police Department, the South Carthage Police Department, the Carthage Police Department, TWRA, Smith County Sheriff’s Office and several other agencies gathered at the Carthage Walmart to shop with and buy Christmas presents for local children.
