A Willits man was killed this week when his car swerved into oncoming traffic on Highway 20 in Lake County, the California Highway Patrol reported. According to the CHP, the driver of a red Toyota Corolla heading eastbound on Hwy. 20 near Blue Lakes Road “lost control in a curved section” of the highway around 12:50 p.m. March 3 and crossed into the opposing lane of traffic. The Corolla then collided with a black GMC Sierra pickup truck that was heading westbound and being driven by an 83-year-old Lake County man. The driver of the pickup truck and his passenger were both transported to a hospital with “suspected minor injuries,” but the driver of the Corolla, along with two dogs in the car,
