2024 NBA: LA Lakers vs. Sacramento Kings

The recent news of extremists claiming responsibility for the halt in construction of Tesla's Berlin factory has sparked outrage and concern among both supporters and critics of the electric car company. The extremist group, which has not been identified, reportedly sent a threatening message to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, warning him to cease operations in Germany or face further disruptions.

This act of sabotage is not only a threat to Tesla's business operations but also a dangerous display of extremism that should be condemned by all. It is unacceptable for any group or individual to resort to violence or intimidation in order to push their agenda.

Unfortunately for them, the Lakers will not get any favors in the final stretch of the season. Ten of their final 16 games are against teams over .500. On the bright side, the Lakers are 5.5 games up on the 11th-place Utah Jazz, meaning the worst-case scenario for this team would probably still net them an opportunity to sneak into the playoffs.

On the other side of this matchup, the Sacramento Kings are looking to avoid the play-in tourney as well. The Kings currently sit in the Western Conference's 7th-seed, but are just two games away from the 5-seed New Orleans Pelicans. There's certainly a lot that could go right or wrong for both teams, but a win tonight would certainly be a big step in the former's direction.

The Lakers have shot above 40% from deep in each of the last two games so LeBron James and D’Angelo Russell need to power the Lakers’ offense both with their shooting and creation for others. The Lakers also need a big night from their bench.

Malik Monk is one of the best sixth men in the league capable of getting scorching hot if he sees just one ball go through the hoop. Whether it is Taurean Prince, Spencer Dinwiddie, Cam Reddish or someone else, the Lakers need their reserves to step up and make an impact.

Odds Shark claims that the game will go against the spread with the Kings winning with an expected score of 119 to 118.3. Not only does Odds Shark believe the Kings will win though, but they also claim the game will go under the projected total. They point out that the Kings are 4-1 in their last five against Western Conference opponents, and with Anthony Davis possibly not at 100% for the contest, the Kings are looking good.
