Janelle and Kody Browns son Garrison Brown Dies at 25

The news of Garrison Brown's untimely death at the young age of 25 has left the Brown family and their fans in shock and mourning. As the son of reality TV stars Janelle and Kody Brown, Garrison was a familiar face to viewers of the popular show "Sister Wives". His passing serves as a tragic reminder of the fragility of life and the unpredictability of fate.

Garrison was known for his kind heart, infectious smile, and adventurous spirit. He had a passion for outdoor activities and was always eager to try new things. His sudden departure has left a void in the lives of those who knew him best, but his memory will live on through the love and support of his family and friends.

Flagstaff police said it appeared he died by suicide. Officers responding to a report of a death at the home were met by Garrison's younger brother Gabe, police said.

Police said that the death was under investigation and that there was no sign of foul play.

Garrison has appeared on the hit TLC reality series since it first aired on the network in 2010. At the time of its initial airing, Brown was a child. The series chronicles his dad’s polygamous lifestyle in Utah, where Kody has multiple wives. Janelle was married to Kody until they got divorced last year.

As he came of age, Garrison showed an interest in enlisting in the armed services. While he wanted to join the Army, Garrison ended up signing up for the National Guard — eventually moving out of his parents’ home and into his own after the pandemic.

“We are devastated to hear of the tragic loss of Garrison Brown,” a spokesperson for TLC said in a statement. “We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time.”

On the latest season, Garrison Brown reflected on his strained relationship with Kody Brown.

"Since I last talked to Dad, I bought a house," he said in an October episode of "Sister Wives." "I've gotten into school and I got the car that I wanted, that he told me I should never get."

Days before his passing, Garrison Brown shared that he had adopted a new cat.

"Newest edition to my home, Ms Buttons," he captioned a photo of himself holding a medium-haired black cat in a Feb. 28 Instagram post. "She's 9 years old and was on the line for euthanasia but my savior complex couldn't suffice."
