The U.S. Postal Worker killed in the 600 block of Olive Avenue NE Saturday afternoon has been identified. Jonte Davis, 33, was found about 1:44 p.m. after officers responded to a call of shots fired, according to a Warren police news release. Davis was found inside his U.S. postal van and was suffering from a gunshot wound. According to the release, Davis was shot by a suspect in another vehicle. Officers and EMTs performed live-saving measures on scene before Davis was transported to Trumbull Regional Medical Center where he later died from his wounds, according to the release.
