The highly anticipated match between Inter Miami and Orlando City ended in a stunning 5-0 victory for Inter Miami. The game, which took place at DRV PNK Stadium, showcased the dominance and skill of the home team.
From the opening whistle, Inter Miami controlled the pace of the game and put immense pressure on Orlando City's defense. Their relentless attack paid off as they scored five goals throughout the match, leaving their opponents struggling to keep up.
Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi scored twice, respectively, Robert Taylor also got on the scoresheet as Miami thrashed Orlando City 5-0 on Saturday afternoon at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.

Inter Miami’s next game is Thursday against Nashville SC in the first of two legs in the CONCACAF Champions Cup round of 16. Messi and Inter Miami beat Nashville to win the Leagues Cup title last August.
Messi’s workload will be considerably high with five Inter Miami matches and two matches with the Argentine national team in the next three weeks. But Inter Miami has put itself in a good spot early, sitting on top of the MLS standings after earning seven of nine possible points from its three matches.
The next tally (62') featured an assist from Luis Suárez, who crossed back-post for Messi to nod past goalkeeper Pedro Gallese. In the first half, Suárez scored a brace of his own.
In the Herons' young 2024 season, Messi now has 3g/2a in three matches. They'll return to action Thursday, starting their 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup campaign at Nashville SC (9 pm ET).
Replacement officials have worked the first three weeks of MLS matches after the league and the Professional Soccer Referees Association could not reach a collective bargaining agreement. With the lockout ongoing, the Professional Referee Organization was handling officials’ assignments for the league.
