Bhubaneswar: Ex-President of School Education Committee, Sikabadi Primary School, Raikia Block in Kandhamal district was sentenced to three years imprisonment for allegedly misappropriating government money. The former School Education Committee President has been identified as Manoj Pradhan. Pradhan, who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance in a case for misappropriating Govt. money, was convicted to three years jail and fine Rs.10,000. The Vigilance Court further sentenced him to 3 years jail and to pay fine of Rs. 10,000/- for the offence U/s 120-B IPC. Both the sentences are to run concurrently, the Vigilance said.
