One man was killed and five more people were injured in a shooting at a Bronx subway station on Monday afternoon, the New York Police Department said. Police said that two groups of teenagers began a fight on a 4 train at about 4:30 p.m., which devolved into a shooting at a platform once the train stopped at the Mt. Eden Avenue subway station in the Bronx. Six people were shot, four men and two women between the ages of 14 and 71 years old. A 34-year-old man died from his injuries, police said.
