Having graduated from the French Culinary Institute and worked for more than a decade for the Westville Restaurant group in New York City, she began selling hit recipes, catering requests, and special cake designs from her home off Abbott Place as Even Dough Bakery. Now, though, Cohen is preparing to take the next step for her business: a brick and mortar location for patrons. And she will be doing it in a space familiar to many downtown Carrboro travelers.
