The tournament, originally scheduled for play on Sunday-Tuesday, Feb. 4-6, was changed to match play format on Friday and teams were placed into brackets. The Spartans were in a bracket with top-ranked Wake Forest, Clemson and Georgetown. SJSU faced Clemson in the first round, and with the win, the team advanced to play Wake Forest. Kajsa Arwefjäll, Moa Andersson and Rebecca Gyllner all won their matches
