Rosa DeLauro recently joined Middletown Mayor Benjamin Florsheim to tout $720,000 in Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding for the Middletown Comprehensive Traffic Safety Plan. Last month, Connecticut received more than $6.6 Million dollars for traffic and road safety improvements and studies from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law or BIL, established the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) discretionary program providing $5 billion over five years. The funds are awarded through the U.S. Department of Transportation Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program established to prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries
