A Ukiah teen was arrested recently after allegedly stabbing a woman and attempting to stab a man in what appear to have been random, unprovoked attacks, the Ukiah Police Department reported. According to the UPD, officers responded to the 700 block of South State Street around 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 30, 2023, after receiving “a call from a hysterical female subject (who said) she had been stabbed by an unknown male subject.” When officers arrived, they reported finding a woman, identified only as a 29-year-old Ukiah resident, “lying on the ground covered in blood.” After requesting an ambulance, the officers began providing medical aid to the victim, who reportedly “had a single stab wound to he
