A new Public Policy Polling survey of likely Democratic primary voters in the state found Slotkin with 50 percent in a hypothetical primary, followed by actor Hill Harper with 12 percent. Two other Democrats got just 3 percent or fewer each — while a notable 34 percent of respondents were still undecided. In a hypothetical head-to-head with just Slotkin and Harper, they earned 56 and 14 percent, respectively, with another 31 percent undecided.
