NEWTON FALLS —Jack D. Balch Sr., 75, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Monday, Dec. 25, 2023, at the Continuing Healthcare at the Ridge in Mineral Ridge. He was born on Aug. 20, 1948, in North Tonawanda, New York, the son of the late Jack D. Balch and Ethel Darlene Lucy Balch. Jack had lived in Newton Falls for the past 10 years and was formerly of Lake Milton and Windham. He married the love of his life, Donna Lee Haynes on April 16, 1970, and they enjoyed 51 years of marriage together until her death on June 11, 2021. Jack loved to go hunting, fishing, his dogs and watching softball and football. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Donna; one sister, Patty Monk;
