Letters: Remembering a tragedy
To the Editor: Every time I drive Brush Street and cross the railroad tracks, I tear up, thinking about the two toddlers who struggled for their lives on a blistering hot August day in 2022. I think about the two-year-old boy trying to watch over his one-year-old brother and witnessing him succumb to heat related organ failure. I think about how this happened in the middle of  the day, in the middle of town, people going about their errands, work, school, etc without knowing this tragedy was happening.  We must not forget what happened on the tracks. -C.
