Governor Maura T. Healey announced that she is recommending Stephanie L. Everett, Esq. for appointment as Suffolk Register of Probate and Family Court. Everett is currently the Executive Director of the Office of Police Accountability and Transparency for the City of Boston and, through her legal career, has represented families with cases before the Probate and Family Court. She would be the first Black person to serve as Suffolk Register of Probate and Family Court.
Three attorneys have been tapped by Massachusetts Gov. Maura T. Healey to serve as associate justices of the state’s Superior Court, while another lawyer was nominated to serve at the juvenile court-level, the governor’s office recently announced in a statement.

Duncan, and Michael Pineault, were each nominated to serve as associate justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court, while Audrey Carr Murillo was nominated for the Massachusetts Juvenile Court. “Governor Healey and I are thrilled to submit these three attorneys for consideration to the Governor’s Council,” said Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll. “They would each make great additions to our Family and Probate Court, and we are grateful for the work of the Governor’s Council as they review these nominees.”
