KINGSTON, R.I. – On the evening of the URI Ring of Honor induction for Brown assistant coach Tyson Wheeler, men’s basketball (3-8) defeated Rhode Island (5-4) 67-64 on Wednesday evening in the Thomas Ryan Center. The win is Brown’s second consecutive victory on the Rams’ home court.   Brown took care of the basketball with just eight turnovers and made the most of Rhode Island’s miscues, scoring 19 points off URI’s 13 turnovers.   Kino Lilly Jr. scored 18 of his game-high 22 points in the second half.
