49ers vs. Eagles (42- 19)

Six straight touchdown drives for the 49ers after the first quarter helped them beat the Eagles on the road, 42-19.

"We didn't coach good enough. We didn't play good enough," Head Coach Nick Sirianni said. "You can't play that way and coach that way against a really good team."

Wide receiver Deebo Samuel found the end zone three times and quarterback Brock Purdy threw for four scores as the visitors piled it on.

"They got after us good today," Sirianni added.

The Eagles (10-2) lost for the first time at home this season. They now head to Dallas to take on the 9-3 Cowboys next Sunday night. The Cowboys are just one game back of the Eagles after beating the Seahawks on Thursday night.

"We didn't coach good enough, didn't play good enough. Simple as that. And why do you not do that? Well, you have to give credit to them too. That's a really good football team. If you don't come out and play your best game against the guys that they have and the coaches that they have, it's going to look like that," Sirianni said. "So, we have to coach better. Have to play better. We have a lot to clean up."

Philadelphia struggled in the red zone early in the season but had turned things around of late, going 10-for-10 on scoring touchdowns in the red zone over its past three games. The issue resurfaced Sunday, however, with the Eagles failing to score TDs on their first two trips inside the 20-yard line and settling for field goals in each case.

The 49ers defensive line has averaged 5.0 sacks a game coming out of the Week 9 Bye, and they added a few more to the stat line against Philadelphia. Third-year pro Javon Kinlaw secured the first sack of the game by tripping up Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts on second-and-six from San Francisco's 14 yard line for a loss of 15 yards. The 49ers were able to hold them on third down, and similarly to first offensive series, prevented the Philadelphia touchdown. The Eagles went on to kick a 39-yard field goal to take the 6-0 lead with 2:01 left in the first quarter.

DiSandro was also removed from the game but was rewarded with a standing ovation from Philly fans at Lincoln Financial Field, as well as pats on the back from members of the coaching staff as he walked off.

Shortly after, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts left the field after he was slow to get up from a play. He was evaluated for a concussion but later returned to the game.

The 49ers ended up walking away with a 42-19 victory.
