Linus Ullmark made 27 saves, and the Boston Bruins extended their point streak to seven games with a 3-1 win against the Florida Panthers at Amerant Bank Arena on Wednesday.
Charlie Coyle, John Beecher and Jake DeBrusk scored for the Bruins (14-1-3), who have won three of their past four games (3-0-1). They are 5-0-2 during their point streak.
“We have only lost one in regulation, so anytime you play this amount of games and can say that, we must be doing something right,” DeBrusk said. “We have a lot of guys who are contributing in different ways, and you need that to win. Our goaltending has been solid and has bailed us out in a lot of games.”
The Boston Bruins Foundation 50/50 Raffle, presented by DraftKings, will benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts, an organization that provides year-round sports training and competition for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Tickets can be purchased throughout the game and at BostonBruins.com/5050.
Beginning November 24, the Bruins Foundation will sell ornaments made with Plexiglass from the 2023 Winter Classic at Fenway Park until Wednesday, December 13 at 10 p.m. Fans can text Plexi to 76278 to purchase. Ornaments will also be available for purchase at the Bruins Foundation table in Loge 5/6 at every home game through December 13.
The Salvation Army, a long-time non-profit community partner of TD Garden, will be in attendance both at the event and in-game to collect donations for their Red Kettle Kickoff campaign to help provide food, shelter, and emergency assistance to local residents who are struggling with the ongoing impact of the pandemic. The Panthers suffered their first multi-goal loss since Nov. 4 and fell to 12-6-1, but remain in second place in the Atlantic Division.
The Panthers were again without captain Aleksander Barkov, who missed his second consecutive game with a knee injury. Barkov has been skating and Maurice said there is a chance — if the doctors approve — that the forward could play Friday against Winnipeg.
