Outfielder Yusniel Díaz has signed a minor league contract with the Giants, according to his transaction log at MLB.com. It isn’t clear if he’ll get an invitation to MLB Spring Training. Díaz, 27, is a former top prospect from his early time in the Dodgers organization. The Cuban-born outfielder hit very well up through Double-A, leading to his inclusion in a 2018 deadline blockbuster. Los Angeles sent him to the Orioles as the headliner in the Manny Machado deal.
