Mr. Jimmy Hunt A former Alexandria Town Councilman, Mr. Jimmy Hunt, was discovered deceased on Friday afternoon November 17, 2023 at his High Street home in Alexandria after he failed to show up in Carthage to be a pallbearer at the funeral of his uncle. Family members went to his home and found him deceased in his bed from an apparent heart attack. He was pronounced deceased at 1:40 p.m. by a Dekalb County Paramedic. Funeral services from the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home are scheduled to be conducted on Saturday afternoon November 25th at 1 p.m. with his minister, David Dunn assisted by Eld.
