As part of the celebrations of Qatar Sustainability Week, Al Daayen Municipality in co-operation with Simaisma Murwab Resort organised a cycling race at the Olympic cycling track at Simaisma area. A number of employees from the municipality and Simaisma Resort participated. The objective is to encourage people to practice sport in the open public areas. The event included planting trees at the municipality gardens in the presence of Al Daayen Municipality director Rashid al-Khayareen and other officials.
