CHP: Trailer carrying 300-plus pounds of marijuana stopped in Mendocino County
A truck towing a trailer with more than 300 pounds of marijuana was stopped recently on Highway 101 between Ukiah and Willits, the California Highway Patrol reported. According to the CHP, around 11:25 a.m. Nov. 9, an officer stopped “a silver Dodge Ram pulling an enclosed trailer” on Hwy. 101 south of the Ridgewood Scales because the driver had been speeding. During the stop, the CHP also reports that “approximately 300 pounds of unprocessed marijuana was located without the required licensing and documentation.” The driver, identified as Carlos Sanicrenoj, no age provided, of Ukiah, was cited and released with a complaint to be filled for “selling marijuana or transporting it for sale with
