WARREN — A Warren man 58, was sleeping Tuesday morning in his northwest side home when he was awoken by gunfire into the house, according to a police report. City police responded around 3:15 a.m. to the 3000 block of Merriweather Street NW and spoke to the man, who told police one bullet went through the pillow the man had been asleep on, the report states. Another bullet was recovered by police from a cabinet inside the home. The man told police he has a gun next to him and fired two rounds at a vehicle in the road that, he said, drove away on Southern Boulevard, the report states.
