Janet Lee Crow, 86, of Venice, Florida passed away on Thursday, November 2nd at Tidewell Sarasota Hospice House with the eldest of 6 by her side. She lived her life uniquely and independently, trying to some, but no doubt fearlessly and persuasively to all who knew her. Born August 5, 1937 in West Unity, Ohio to Edna (Snyder) and Harry Converse, she spent her first 55 years in northwest Ohio. She was an only child and graduated from Swanton High School in 1955. She loved dressing up and re-enacting the American pioneer era with her friend, Al for several years at the Applebutter Festival in Grand Rapids. She moved to Florida in late 1992 and loved being involved with the Nokomis Drum Circle
