Bhubaneswar: ORMAS under Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department signed two MoUs with Vijayanagar Biotech of Andhra Pradesh and DeHaat of Patna, Bihar, during the Buyer-Seller Meet under Mukhyamantri Maka Mission held on Saturday at the MGNREGS Conference Hall, SIRD & PR Campus, Bhubaneswar. ORMAS plays a vital role in facilitating the production, procurement and marketing of maize through forming and promoting 14 Women-led Farmers Producer Organizations (FPOs), one consortium Farmer Producer Organization, out of which 12 FPOs have already been registered, seven Agrimalls and one Producer Enterprise in Nabarangpur district under the State Sector Scheme “Implementation Support to ORMAS”.
