(KNSI) — The world’s largest pumpkin and the man who grew it visited Foley Wednesday. Travis Gienger is a horticulture teacher at Anoka Hennepin Technical College and a Guinness World Record holder for the pumpkin he calls Michael Jordan. The name comes from the basketball great who wore the number 23, and the pumpkin was grown in 2023. Gienger spoke with KNSI News and said he started the seed on April 10th and let it grow for 184 days.
