The Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) is partnering with Enbridge Sustain to make a $145.54 million (CAD 200 million) loan available for deep energy retrofits of large buildings in Ontario in a bid to accelerate the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. CIB and Enbridge Sustain expect the total retrofit program value to be up to approximately $218.32 million (CAD 300 million), with Enbridge Sustain contributing up to $72.77 million (CAD 100 million). Projects under the program will be developed and executed through a partnership between Enbridge Sustain and Blackstone Energy Services, CIB said in a news release Tuesday.
