Baltimore Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans (24-16)

The final NFL London game of the 2023 season saw the Baltimore Ravens earn a 24-16 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

The crowd at the Tottenham Hostpur Stadium was not treated to a classic as the Ravens defense took centre stage in snuffing out any early overtures from the Titans.

That led to a bevvy of field goals from Baltimore that allowed the Lamar-Jackson-led team to inch ahead as the clock ticked on, and the Ravens entered the halftime break with a 15-point advantage despite scoring just one touchdown in the first two quarters - and with a blocked extra point on that TD, to boot.

However, a 10-0 third quarter by Tennessee brought back some drama to the proceedings, only for Titans quarterback Ryan Tanehill to be forced from the game with an apparent ankle injury.

Malik Willis was called upon t#with the Titans chasing the game, and unfortunately for the second-year QB he could not maintain the momentum created in the third quarter as the Ravens eased to a 24-16 victory.

There was early excitement for Baltimore after they claimed the first score on Sunday, but it was Pittsburgh who ended up claiming the real prize. The Ravens took a 17-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Steelers.

Meanwhile, the Titans also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to the Colts by a score of 23-16.

Baltimore's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2, while Tennessee's bumped their own down to the opposite: 2-3.

Going forward, the Ravens are the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by four points. This contest will be their fourth straight as the favorites (so far over this stretch they are 1-2 against the spread).

Jackson was 21 of 30 for 223 yards with an interception, while adding 63 yards on 12 carries. And tight end Mark Andrews added four catches for 69 yards for Baltimore, who improved to 4-2 in the AFC North, and host the Lions next week.
