Cemex has announced it is providing its low-carbon Vertua concrete for the construction of Houston Methodist’s Centennial Tower, which is said to be part of the world’s largest medical complex. The firm said it will be providing more than 15,000m3 of low-carbon concrete for the 26-storey tower, which is taking shape in Texas, in the United States, and is due for completion in 2027.
