Australia hosts world premiere of restored Egyptian classic ‘Watch Out for ZouZou’
The Australian city of Melbourne, Victoria, hosted the world premiere for the restored version of the classic Egyptian film “Watch Out for ZouZou” (1972). The film stars Soad Hosni, Hussein Fahmy, and Tahia Karioka, directed by Hussein al-Imam. The show was organized by Egyptian businesswoman Nevin al-Rifai in cooperation with the Arab Radio and Television Network (ART). A large portion of the Egyptian and Arab community and a number of Australians attended the show, held inside one of the largest theaters in the city. The entire proceeds from the show were allocated to the “Ahl Masr” Hospital for free burn treatment, and were delivered by Engineer Ahmed Mostafa on behalf of the communit
