The Chairman of Plan and Budget Committee at the Egyptian House of Representatives, Fakhry al-Feki, announced that the International Monetary Fund has postponed its first review of the Egyptian loan program. The former advisor to the IMF said that meeting between the Egyptian delegation and IMF experts to conduct the review was originally scheduled for this September. He explained that it was postponed to allow IMF experts to meet with the Egyptian delegation to discuss the first and second review together, on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the Fund and the World Bank, which will be held in Morocco from October 9 to 15.
