Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has announced Phase 2 of the Noor Abu Dhabi street lighting project. The public private partnership (PPP) project will be executed through the Abu Dhabi City Municipality and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO). The size of the project is more than three times that of Phase 1 and will result in significant electricity savings of almost 2,400 million kWh and a reduction of approximately 76% in power consumption, according to the ADIO.
