September 11, 2023 ( PORT SUDAN) – Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Army and Chairman of the Sovereign Council wrapped up his visit to Asmara on Monday, marking his fourth international travel since departing from army headquarters last August. In Asmara, al-Burhan engaged in joint discussions with Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations between Khartoum and Asmara and exploring avenues to bolster and develop these ties.
