Arab Club Champions Cup final: Al Nassr 2-1 Al Hilal

Al-Hilal have presented FC Barcelona target Neymar with an "important proposal" on Saturday, which Fabrizio Romano's sources described to the transfer market expert as a "huge bid".

In France, RMC Sport's Fabrice Hawkins reported that Neymar is "one step" away from signing for the Saudi giants and "very close to leaving" Paris Saint-Germain.

Neymar appears to be nearing the end of his tenure at PSG, who he joined in 2017 when the Qatari-owned outfit triggered his €222 million ($243 million) release clause at Camp Nou.

This summer, he has already informed them that he wants to move on and rejoin Barca according to L'Equipe.

A final attempt by Al Hilal players for a goal but Malcom misses the shot, and with this, the referee blows the full-time whistle which means the men in yellow, Al Nassr wins its first trophy since Cristiano Ronaldo’s signing! They beat Al Hilal for the first time since December 2021 and what a time to beat your arch-rivals! Ronaldo leads Nassr to a trophy, a fitting end to this story.

Al-Hilal keeper Mohammed Alowais then pulled off a superb save to deny Brozovic his first goal for Al Nassr following a fine cross by Mane.

Alowais was called upon on two more occasions before half-time. He kept out a powerful 20-yard effort from Abdullah Al Khaibari before thwarting Ronaldo from close range.

Ronaldo - this year's top scorer at the tournament with four goals - scored the 75th-minute penalty against Iraq's Al-Shorta to put Al-Nassr in the spot to possibly win their first-ever Arab Club Champions Cup title, while Al-Hilal have won it twice before - in 1994 and 1995.

The Knights of Najd had finished second to Al-Shabab from Group C before continuing their run with a 3-1 win over Raja Casablanca of Morocco in the quarter-finals.

Al Nassr's hopes of a comeback appeared to be fading when center-back Al-Amri was dismissed.

But Al Nassr defied their numerical disadvantage to draw level almost immediately after going down to 10 men when Sultan Al-Ghannam's low cross set up Ronaldo, who celebrated by waving is finger directly at Michael.
