First responders late Friday morning pulled a motorist from the lake at Bittersweet Park, according to a social media post from the Greeley Fire Department. In a short Facebook post, the department said at approximately 11:40 a.m. it responded with police and emergency services from UCHealth to traffic accident with unknown injuries at the park. First units on the scene found a vehicle in the water with patient in the lake in distress. Additional units from the fire department were called to the scene from Greeley and the Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue. The incident was upgraded to a water rescue. Greeley fire and police deployed a rescue boat and were quickly able to rescue the patient from
