June 27, 2023 (JUBA) – South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir has flown to South Africa for an official working visit, the Presidential Affairs minister announced on Friday. President Kiir is scheduled to meet his counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa on Wednesday as both leaders enhance bi-lateral relations between both nations. Speaking to reporters at Juba International Airport prior to the South Sudanese leader’s departure, the Presidential Affairs minister said the two leaders would also discuss the implementation of the September 2018 revitalized peace agreement.
