June 23, 2023 (PARIS) – President William Ruto of Kenya has called for an immediate halt to the ongoing armed conflict in Sudan, expressing deep concerns about the signs of genocide emerging in the country. Speaking to France 24 TV from Paris, where he participated in a Summit for a New Global Financing Pact, Ruto attributed the destruction of Sudan and the loss of civilian lives to rival generals in the region. “The war is senseless.
