Palestinian fighters attacked government security headquarters in Jenin in the West Bank on Sunday after security services detained and allegedly beat a man from the Jenin refugee camp. Members of the Palestinian Preventive Security service stopped Talal Al-Hosary at around 1 am local time. He was reportedly beaten before being taken to the security agency’s headquarters, but later released, The New Arab’s sister site Al-Araby Al-Jadeed reported. Talal is the brother of Abdullah Al-Hosary, a slain fighter who was a senior member of the Jenin Brigades armed group. It was not clear why he was detained and beaten.
