March 12, 2023 (KHARTOUM) – An armed movement and the Sudanese police traded accusations in Khartoum after an attack on a police station in Khartoum on Sunday. The group says the security forces assaulted one of its leaders, while the police accused the former of attacking a police station to release a number of detainees. On Sunday, the Third Front Movement, “Tamazuj”, said that one of its generals and member of the Security Arrangements Sub-Committee, Hussein Jaqud Wadi, came to the police station in Khartoum to investigate the circumstances of the arrest of a vehicle belonging to the movement.
