Damascus, SANA- A delegation from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) visited a number of archeological sites in the Old City of Aleppo inscribed on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List to see damage caused to the sites due to the earthquake. Syrian Trust for Development with the Directorate of Antiquities and Museums, accompanied the UNESCO delegation based on its role in protecting cultural identity and being an arbitrator member of UNESCO, the Syrian Trust for Development posted on Facebook.
