The Opera House, headed by Magdy Saber, prepared during December a rich and varied artistic program to celebrate Christmas on its theaters in Cairo and in Alexandria. Saber said that the many opera venues have been decorated showcasing a festive atmosphere for the New Year’s occasion. The December program includes a variety of arts, including the masterpiece of the Russian author Tchaikovsky’s ballet “The Nutcracker”. This will be performed for four nights by the Cairo Opera Ballet Company under the supervision of its artistic director Armenia Kamel and directed by Abdel Moneim Kamel, accompanied by the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, led by Maestro Nader Abbasy.
